PRI’s design professionals are experienced, highly skilled, trained, and widely recognized as the best in their fields. The quality of our work grows from the unique nature of our experiences; where we hail from, how we learned our craft, and how we combine them to meet client needs.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our esteemed colleague and friend, Steven Halberg. Steve unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, following his beloved pastime of officiating a football game.
Steve’s loss will be deeply felt by his PRI colleagues and the entire landscape architecture industry. He dedicated his career to our noble field, serving as Past President and Treasurer of the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. A proud alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Steve’s passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on those he worked closely within our office as well as within our industry.
Although Steve is no longer with us, his contributions and legacy will continue to inspire and guide our collective efforts. His memory will forever be cherished by his PRI family.
